If this occurs, the brake pedal can go to the floor during application, increasing the brake stopping distance. Remedy: Dealers will replace the brake master cylinder. Owner notification is expected to begin during April 1999. Owners who do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Subaru at 1-800-782-2783.
