NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID: 02V196 Potential Number Of Units Affected: 375 Summary: Some of the passenger air bag modules in these vehicles were not properly welded and may not deploy in a collision. The seat occupant would not be properly protected in the event of a collision, increasing the risk of personal injury. Remedy: Dealers will replace the passenger air bag module. The manufacturer has reported that owner notification began August 7, 2002. Owners who do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Acura at 1-800-382-2238.
